Yoga Mudra Flow:
Workshop w/ Bo Walter
Friday June 15th, 7:00-8:30 P.M.
Mudra is movement and placement of your hands and fingers that seals and directs energy through the body. How you hold your hands and position your fingers in a given posture will generate different energies. You may find balance of self, heal or change the body, meditate and focus on the internal or external nature of the self. You may seek kindness, compassion, peace, generosity, patience, morality or concentration in this energetic practice. Your hands are an extension of your heart!
In this workshop we will learn about the different hand gestures, their symbolic meanings, and the different ways to move energy and healing from our hands. We will flow through a series of yoga postures incorporating mudras, breathe work and meditation.
